World wide panic

A little information repeated over and over again can be alot more dangerous to your health than actually catching the Swine flu, but it sure is good for ratings.

You really can't blame the media for wanting to cover a story that has the potential of impacting the whole planet. You can however blame them for overreacting and causing a world wide panic. Sure the prospect of millions of people dying is a terrible thought, but until people start dropping like flies shouldn't the media excersize a little restraint and rather than doing stories on worse case scenarios present the facts as they stand and suggest ways in which to avoid contracting the illness to begin with?
