Joe the non Plumber Plumber may not have been able to save the McCain campaign but he did show just how vicious the media and the political system can be. Introduce someone and promote him or her as an image of perfection, interview and subject to hours of irrelavent questioning then when you have subjected their original image to the glare of the spotlight and extreme scrutiny go in for the kill.
