The current chaos in the market and the world in general makes me wonder about just how much stuff we as a culture have versus how much we truly need. The answer is obvious, but despite what our better angels try to tell us we still insist on having more than the next guy. In addition to that it also has to be bigger, more powerful and newer than than the other guys. Then one day you wake up and suddenly realize that the only thing that really matters is your family and your health. So before you go to the effort of trying to keep up with the neighbors look at what you already have and then be rational about what you want. Wants and desires can never be appeased but needs can be met. Wealth is relative.
