WINTER FATIGUE
I know I'm not the only one who's had enough of this Winter. If it was as easy as forming an angry mob to chase Winter away I'd be the first in line.

THE SHADOW KNOWS
Enjoy the rest of your Winter. If we are to believe the tradition according to Punxsutawney Phil we’re in for a long cold Winter. Can you imagine if we based all of life’s major decisions on rodents? Then again who’s to say most people don’t? Happy Groundhogs Day all.

The Winter That Never Was
Despite the fact that Winter decided to avoid Central New York this year which you won't hear me complaining about I chose to paint what it may have looked like. That and I really like blue.

Blue Too
Despite this being one of the worst winters I can recall some good has come from it. I've completed about twenty water color paintings and have about a dozen more in various stages of completion.

Winter Sketches form a Shut In.
Being snowed in can start to make a person go a little stir crazy. Fortunately I seem to do some of my best work when I'm just a little bit off. Over the last two weeks as the snow has grown deeper and my mood a bit darker I've some how managed to come up with all kinds of ideas. Here are three recent pages from my sketch book. Done in ink and then enhanced with a little water color.
