Being snowed in can start to make a person go a little stir crazy. Fortunately I seem to do some of my best work when I'm just a little bit off. Over the last two weeks as the snow has grown deeper and my mood a bit darker I've some how managed to come up with all kinds of ideas. Here are three recent pages from my sketch book. Done in ink and then enhanced with a little water color.

Snomageddon 2010
Inspired by the recent snowfall. We received about 40 inches give or take in a 96 hour period. This is my newest profile picture for Facebook. I try to change it depending on the season, special event and mood. I'm not a big fan of putting real pictures on the web so with small exception I will continue to have a toon representing me.

Winter Sports
While I was out for a walk this past Sunday morning I couldn't help but notice all the sights and sounds of the season. Then it struck me why not make snow removal an official sport? Awards could be given, sponsers could be approached for finacial support and best of all it would be an opportunity to make money off my art by creating designs for clothing and promotional items.
Now if I could only fine a snow blower company that thinks it's a good idea.
